Delete my data
Last updated 26 September 2026
We do not have reader accounts, so for almost everyone there is nothing of theirs in our system. This page exists for the cases where there may be.
What we may hold about you
Only one of two things. First: a public reply you left under one of our posts on Instagram or Threads — we store its text, the public username of its author and whether we answered it. Second: a public Threads post of yours that asked about Phuket and was found by keyword search — we store its identifier and the author's public username, for one purpose only, so that we never reply to the same person twice. We hold no reader accounts, no e-mail addresses, no phone numbers, no location, no device identifiers and no payment data.
How to ask for deletion
Write to us from any channel below with the words “data deletion” and the public username the content was posted under (for example @yourname). No account, no form and no document is required. If you write from the same account, that is enough on its own.
What happens then
We delete every row that refers to that username: the stored reply, the stored search result and the mark that we answered it. Deletion is permanent — we keep no shadow copy. Encrypted database backups are rotated, so a deleted row disappears from the last backup within 14 days. We confirm to you when it is done, and in any case within 30 days of the request.
What we cannot delete
Content that lives on the platform itself. Your own post or reply on Threads or Instagram belongs to your account: delete it there, or ask the platform. If we published a reply of ours under your post and you want it gone, tell us — we will remove our reply.
Event listings
A venue or organiser who wants a listing corrected or removed writes to the same address. That is not personal data, but the route is the same and the answer is just as quick.
