Who we are
Phuket Party List is an independent events listing service covering nightlife on Phuket, Thailand. We operate the Telegram channel @PhuketParty_com, a companion Telegram bot, and the accounts @phuketparty_com on Instagram and Threads. "The apps" means our Meta applications PHUKET PARTY LIST and PHUKET PARTY THREADS.
What we store
Public event information (venue, date, time, line-up, poster, ticket link, price); our own published posts and their public metrics; public replies left under our own posts; operational logs needed to keep the service running.
What we do not store
No reader accounts, passwords or contact details — there is nothing to sign up for. No private or direct messages. No location data, contact lists or device identifiers. No payment information: the apps take no payments.
Data accessed through Meta platforms
The apps act on behalf of our own Instagram and Threads profiles: publishing our listings; reading and managing replies under our own posts; reading insights for posts we published; and searching public Threads posts for Phuket-related questions so we can reply with a useful answer. For those searches we read the public text and the author's public username, keep no more than is needed to avoid answering the same person twice, and use them neither for advertising nor for profiling. We never request access to anyone else's private data.
How we use it
To publish accurate event listings and answer questions about them. We do not sell data, do not share it with advertisers and run no advertising network. A venue that pays for a listing receives a report of where its event appeared — its event and our publication links, never data about readers.
Storage and retention
Data is held in a private database on a single rented server in Europe, accessible only to the operator. Listings are kept while relevant and for a period afterwards for venue reporting. Operational logs are rotated and discarded.
Services we rely on
Meta Platforms (Instagram, Threads), Telegram, X (Twitter), and an AI text provider used to draft post copy from public event information. Each processes data under its own policy.
Your requests
Organisers and venues may ask for a listing to be corrected or removed. If you replied to one of our posts and want that reply excluded from our system, write to us and we will delete it. Requests are handled within 30 days.
Children
Our listings concern nightlife venues and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If what we do with data changes, we will update this page and the date above, and announce material changes in our Telegram channel.
